Emakina racks up 19 Communicator Awards

8 times Gold and 11 times Silver

Friday, May 20, 2016 — Founded two decades ago, The Communicator Awards receives over 6,000 entries from across the globe, making it one of the largest awards of its kind in the world. Emakina is a leading competitor, with no less then 8 golden and 11 silver awards.

The Communicator Awards is sanctioned and judged by the Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts, an invitation-only group consisting of top-tier professionals from acclaimed media, communications, advertising, creative and marketing firms.

Look up at the stars

The Astral experience created for Jaeger-LeCoultre won 3 gold medals in the categories ‘Video Animation’, ‘Original music’ and ‘Interactive Multimedia’, and one silver prize for in ‘Interactive graphic design’. This innovative interactive experience subtly blends artistic animation, video and design with technological innovation, with the first ever integration of an App for iPhone inside a telescope.

Fast forward with Ouibus

The website for "Ouibus" is also a big winner in this award festival, with two gold prizes, in the categories ‘Transport Website' and' Structure and Navigation', and a silver in ‘Tourism'. Emakina assisted the International Coach travel company in digital communication from its very beginning, and successfully executed its digital rebranding from "iDBUS" to "OUIBUS", strengthening its online presence.

A string of awards

Emakina also took home a gold award for the original Café Capital investor’s minisite for Deutsche Bank, while the Kenwood Cooking Chef website won gold and silver in ‘Restaurant’ and ‘Food and Beverage’. Emakina ‘s video "Sea Matters", created for the European Environment Agency (EEA) also won one gold and one silver prize.

The Swatch Freeride World Tour won three times silver, in ‘Sports Websites’, ‘Video and Motion Graphics’ and ‘Entertainment Websites’, while the My Way E-Blackmail campaign received two silver medals, in ‘Online advertising B to C’ and ‘Email Marketing’.

Last but not least, there were silver awards for the integrated campaing for Audi’s E-tron pre lauch test drive week and the special event website for AGC Glass at Expo Milano 2015.
