Some 20 years ago, the web started impacting our lives. During the past 10 years, mobile has changed everyday life forever. Now it’s time for the next evolution: Voice.

Amazon and Google are investing billions to push Alexa and Home devices.
Giants like Apple, Samsung and Microsoft are entering the space as well.

Over 45 million smart speakers were sold in the US and Europe in the last 36 months.
Research by Gartner predicts 30% of searches will be without a screen by 2020.
Amazon is launching in France as we speak.
And Google Assistant is expected to be rolled out in Dutch over the summer.

All these are signs that voice is going to explode on to the Belgian scene. That’s why we are organising our first Find Your Voice event on July 13th.

The speakers

Ben Sauer is a force to be reckoned with. As an independent (voice) design strategist, he works with organisations around the world to raise their design game. He’s been speaking about voice UI at events for several years, and is on top training teams in how to rapidly prototype voice interfaces. He’s the right man in the right spot to show you how to get started with Voice UX and No Screen Design.

Floris Daelemans is the go-to guy at VRT on technology and innovation in media. As a traditional media company, VRT is experimenting, defining and learning what role voice will play in the media landscape for years to come. Being an experienced producer and presenter, Floris knows how to captivate his audience and tell you even more about how No Screen Design is changing the game.

Periklies Antoniou looks after new technology and media innovation for the likes of Johnny Walker, Smirnoff and other well-known brands at Diageo. The company is and has been working on voice interfaces for its various brands. Peri will tell you all about this and other voice ventures in an inspiring session.
