Emakina.BE attracts a string of new talents

Spring is in the air… and Emakina.BE is doing well, welcoming a dozen new clients. To manage this new growth spurt, it is recruiting multiple profiles, and already signed up a series of new colleagues.

Senior digital expert Kristof Verheyden goes to Emakina as part of its strategic team.  He learned the ropes as a digital marketing consultant at Havas media and Altavia ACT*, and will focus on digital advertising (SEA, PPC, paid social), digital & performance strategy to boost Emakina clients’ results.

Kristof joins another new senior digital strategist at Emakina, well-known keynote speaker Miel van Opstal. The respected business and marketing innovation facilitator made the move to Emakina’s strategy team, after completing missions for Microsoft Europe, Colruyt, Toerisme Vlaanderen and Royal Antwerp FC.

Jean Banh is also a new member of the Emakina family. He will take on a position as senior project manager, working for international accounts. He is very comfortable in his new key role, having worked on major digital projects for top brands at Uefa, PMI and Zagrith Jewellery.

Emakina recently welcomed a second new Project Manager, Stefan de Haes.
He gained experience in digital projects and web development at the Blue bees agency and at Gouden Gids, and has a technology and systems background. At Emakina, he started work for D’Ieteren Group brands (and some other clients), and is also involved in Hololens and a HTC Vive projects.

Sammy De Cooman is a perfect example of new young talent finding its way in the company. After a positive experience as an intern, Sammy now is an enthusiastic mobile developer, making android and iOS magic happen at Emakina / Applications.

The team of Emakina / Insights is also recruiting, to answer the growing demand for their services. Their mission is to better understand what really drives consumers and to help leveraging this knowledge.

Their experts bring more depth and precision to customer journeys, throughout all experiences and on all touch points. More clients recognize this great added value of this intelligence, so logically, the team managed by Aline Durand is expanding as well.

Aline recently welcomed Kasper van Den Elsacker to the team as new research director. This Vlerick, EHSAL and Antwerp Management School graduate made his mark at Leo Pharma and suAzio, before joining Insights.

Kasper’s new colleagues include Program Manager Laura Balthazart. She migrates from the cloud-based messaging startup Instaply, but knows Emakina well, having worked for six years as account and project manager in the Brussels office.

Research project manager Ieva Dominaite is also new to the Insights team. She is a psychology bachelor and communication master, and gained valuable experience at Aquent in Amsterdam.
