Emakina wins Selligent ‘Campaign of the Year’ and ‘Best Creative’ Award

Selligent’s professional jury honours Emakina’s My Way E-Blackmail campaign

Emakina won two major prizes at the 2016 Selligent Awards gala during the Selligent River Summit in Lisbon – Selligent is the world's leading independent provider of 1-to-1 engagement solutions for relationship marketing. The jury recognised the digital agency’s top performance and best practices in innovative and creative campaign management for the My Way E-Blackmail. Emakina not only won the Selligent ‘Campaign of the Year’ trophy, but also the ‘2016 Best Creative’ Award.

Besides these two wins, Emakina was also one of six nominees of the best business cases, with its Audi dealership event case. In previous years it already proved its valour in the Selligent Awards, with nominated cases such as Samsung World, Audi A3, and the Beru Original contest, that took home a special award in last year’s competition.

My Way E-blackmail, innovative email and bannering

The project for My Way was named ‘Campaign of the Year’, and also won honours as ‘Best Creative’ case. My Way, a leading second hand car network, reached Belgian students and their parents in an original way, by leveraging the concept of a friendly (E-)blackmail. Emakina combined Selligent tools with Google DoubleClick in a way never done before. It adapted the DoubleClick parameters to push highly personalised retargeting banners with fun ‘threats’ to the parents’ computers. This generated a lively market debate and massive attention for the brand.

The Audi dealership nights: 65 celebrations, with one engine

Emakina was also nominated for the Public Award for its Audi dealership nights campaign. Emakina's market activation for Audi employed Selligent's intelligent engine for a flawless coordination of 65 simultaneous “dealership nights" events. Selligent managed a complex invitation flow and event management process uniting a variety of databases and information across dealerships.
